CricScore privacy policy

Your match data stays under your control.

This Privacy Policy explains how CricScore: Cricket Scoring handles information when you use the Android application.

Effective: July 23, 2026Last updated: July 23, 2026App version: 1.0.0
Privacy summary: CricScore does not require an account. Match information is designed to be processed and stored locally on your device. Usama Apps Studio does not operate a server that receives your match data.

1. Scope and developer information

This Privacy Policy applies to CricScore: Cricket Scoring ("CricScore," "the app"), an Android application published by Usama Apps Studio ("we," "us," or "our"). It describes the app's data practices as of the effective date above.

CricScore is designed as an offline-first application and does not require users to create an account or sign in.

2. Information handled by CricScore

Information you enter

To provide cricket scoring features, CricScore may process information that you choose to enter, such as:

  • Match names, dates, venues, and match settings;
  • Team names, player names, squads, and playing elevens;
  • Runs, wickets, overs, deliveries, extras, partnerships, and other scoring events;
  • Match results, scorecards, statistics, notes, and match history.

Player or team names may identify real people if you choose to enter real names. This information is processed for the features you request and is designed to remain in the app's local storage on your device. It is not transmitted to Usama Apps Studio.

Information we do not request

The current version of CricScore does not require an account and does not ask you to provide an email address, phone number, payment information, contacts list, precise location, or government identifier.

3. How information is used

Information entered into CricScore is used on your device to:

  • Create and manage teams, players, and matches;
  • Calculate scores, statistics, results, and match summaries;
  • Display saved match history and scorecards;
  • Generate scorecard images, match posters, and PDF reports;
  • Restore the current match state within the app.

We do not use your match information for advertising, profiling, marketing, or sale.

4. Local processing and storage

CricScore is designed to store its app data locally within storage controlled by Android on your device. Usama Apps Studio does not operate a cloud account or external server for storing CricScore match data.

Data that remains only on your device is not accessible to us. Access to local app data may still be possible to someone who has access to your unlocked device, device backups, or exported files.

5. Generated files, exports, and sharing

CricScore may allow you to create PDF reports, scorecard images, or match posters. These files are generated on your device and may be saved to a location you select or made available through Android's system file and sharing features.

When you choose to share a generated file, Android may send it to another app or service selected by you, such as an email, messaging, cloud storage, or social media app. That third party's handling of the file is governed by its own privacy policy. CricScore does not control what the selected service does with information you intentionally share.

6. Device permissions and system access

The exact system prompts may vary by Android version and device. CricScore may use limited device capabilities only when needed for app features:

CapabilityPurposeWhen used
Files, photos, or media accessSave or select scorecard images, posters, and PDF reports where required by the Android version.When you create, save, open, or share a file.
Android system share sheetPass a file or text to an app you select.Only after you choose a share action.
Notifications, if requestedDisplay app-related status or reminders supported by the installed version.Only after permission is granted on supported Android versions.

CricScore does not use these capabilities to send your match data to Usama Apps Studio. You can manage permissions through Android Settings, although disabling a permission may prevent the related feature from working.

7. Internet access and third-party services

Core CricScore functions are designed to work offline. As of version 1.0.0, CricScore is not designed to include advertising, behavioral tracking, third-party analytics, or a developer-operated cloud synchronization service.

Your device and operating system may independently connect to Google or other platform services for activities such as app installation, security checks, operating-system backups, or Play Store services. Those activities are controlled by the platform provider and are governed by its terms and privacy policy.

8. Sale, sharing, and disclosure

Usama Apps Studio does not sell CricScore user data. Because we do not receive your locally stored match information, we do not disclose that information to advertisers or data brokers.

Information may leave your device only when you direct the app or Android to export, save, back up, or share it, or when access is required by law and information is actually available to us. We cannot provide data that we do not possess.

9. Data retention and deletion

Locally stored match information remains on your device until you remove it. Depending on the app version and feature, you may be able to delete individual matches or records from within CricScore.

You can remove all local CricScore app data by using Android Settings → Apps → CricScore → Storage → Clear storage/data, or by uninstalling the app. Exported PDFs, images, or posters may remain in folders or third-party apps after CricScore data is cleared or the app is uninstalled; those files must be deleted separately from their saved locations.

CricScore does not offer account deletion because the current version does not provide user accounts.

10. Android and device backups

Depending on your device, Android version, and backup settings, the operating system or a device manufacturer may back up app data or exported files. Such backups are controlled by you and the applicable platform provider, not by Usama Apps Studio. Clearing local app data or uninstalling the app may not remove copies already stored in an external backup or another service.

11. Data security

CricScore limits its handling of information by keeping core match data on the device rather than operating a remote match database. No method of device storage is completely secure, however. You are responsible for protecting access to your device, choosing what you share, and securing any exported files or backups.

12. Children's privacy

CricScore is a general cricket scoring utility and is not designed to collect personal information from children. The app does not require an account or transmit user-entered match data to Usama Apps Studio. Adults supervising youth matches should use appropriate team or player naming practices and avoid entering unnecessary personal information.

If you believe information relating to a child has been sent directly to us through a support message, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

13. Your choices and privacy requests

Because match data is stored locally and is not available to us, you control it directly through the app, Android Settings, exported file locations, and any third-party service you choose for sharing or backup.

You may contact us to ask a question about this policy or about information you intentionally sent to us in a support email. To protect privacy, do not include unnecessary player information, full match databases, or other sensitive content in a support request.

14. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when CricScore features, technologies, or legal requirements change. The revised policy will be published on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes to data practices will be reflected in the app and Google Play disclosures as required.
